Bandung, August 7, 2024 – Frontier Research, a leading independent research firm, has announced the results of its "Top Brand" survey for 2024, which involved 12,000 respondents across 15 major cities in Indonesia. The survey reveals a significant increase in public perception and acceptance of the ATM Link network, with its popularity rising to 35.70 percent in 2024—a notable 10.7 percent increase from the previous year.
In recognition of this achievement, PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (“Jalin”), an electronic payment processing company (switching) under the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding that manages the Link network, has been awarded the Top Brand Award 2024 in the "Interbank Networks" category for its ATM Link service.
Eko Dedi Rukminto, Jalin's Commercial Director, expressed his gratitude for the Top Brand recognition awarded to ATM Link. He noted that this accolade reflects the growing trust of the public, particularly Himbara customers, in ATM Link. Himbara customers are increasingly drawn to the service due to its ease of access, security, and cost efficiency.
ATM Link, Indonesia's largest integrated ATM network operated by Jalin, consolidates the resources of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) — BRI, BNI, Bank Mandiri, and Bank BTN — into one unified service. This integration allows Himbara customers to enjoy secure, convenient services with more affordable transaction fees at ATM Link.
“This rise in acceptance demonstrates ATM Link's appeal in meeting the financial transaction needs of the public. While digital financial services continue to grow, the demand for cash remains strong, especially in regions and sectors still dependent on cash transactions. With more than 50,000 ATMs and CRMs across Indonesia, Jalin, through ATM Link, asserts its role as the leading interconnector of ATM networks today,” Eko said.
The name ‘Link,’ Eko continued, is more than just a brand; it embodies the company’s commitment to supporting the vision of 'The National Digital Highway' by connecting people to both financial and non-financial ecosystems. One of ATM Link's advantages is its ability to continuously develop features that cater to customer needs. For example, non-Himbara customers and e-wallet users from fintech companies can now make cardless cash withdrawals at ATM Link, provided their bank or fintech is a Link member. This feature offers greater flexibility, expanding customer access to fast and efficient financial services and contributing to the Government's financial inclusion target of 90% by 2024.
