Jalin and BNI Collaborate to Support Digital Payment Systems at INACRAFT 2024

Jakarta – PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (“Jalin”), part of the Danareksa SOE Holding, continues to support the growth of Indonesia's creative industry by participating in the prestigious Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (“INACRAFT”) held from October 2-6, 2024. To add excitement to the event, Jalin partnered with Bank Negara Indonesia (“BNI”) to co-host the Race Transaction Competition.

The competition aims to reward merchants who achieved the highest transaction volumes, with prizes in the form of BNI savings accounts. The prizes were personally awarded by Jalin's Commercial Director, Eko Dedi Rukminto, as a form of recognition for the merchants’ active role in boosting digital transactions during the exhibition.

INACRAFT 2024, officially opened by Indonesia’s Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki, is one of Southeast Asia's largest exhibitions, showcasing top handicraft products from various countries. This year’s edition features the theme “Youthpreneurs,” emphasizing the important role of young people in the craft and cultural arts industries.

Jalin and BNI’s collaboration at INACRAFT 2024 demonstrates a shared commitment to accelerating digital payment transactions in Indonesia. This partnership not only focuses on increasing transaction volumes but also equips merchants with efficient payment solutions through both physical card payments and QRIS.

Jalin’s participation in INACRAFT 2024 is part of a strategic effort to broaden the acceptance of digital payments, particularly among creative industry players, thus reinforcing the digital payment ecosystem and fostering the growth of the expanding creative economy sector. Held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), the exhibition also serves as a tangible representation of the craft industry’s development on both national and international levels.
